I need a new gear since we put the 33's on my TJ, anyone know the specifics on what I need w/3.73's? Rick says there's a shop down in Riverside that sells the things, or should I go to the local dealership since it's muuuch closer?

Sarah,
The speedo gear that is in my Jeep right now is what you need . . . 33's and 3.73's. You can have it once I get/find a 39 tooth. I need a 39 tooth in trade!

If you look at the cover of your rear diff, there should be a little metal tag on one of the bolt heads stamped with your gear ratio.

Ok I got a question. I installed the 241OR rubicon T-case in my TJ, how do you recalibrate this speedo? T-case doesnt have the gear like the 231. Any rubi owners get past this.
I bought a dakota digital recalibration unit but I havent figured out how to use it.

I believe you have to have the PCM calibrated. I have heard that the speedometers read fast in the rubicons (mine included). People are going to the dealer to have them reprogrammed. Mine reads about 3 or 4% fast, which would be just about right if I were to put 33's on it. I don't know if that calibration is will help you though, since you are still using your original PCM, not one from a rubicon.olllllllo <--- If you can read that, roll me over!
Price is soon forgotton, quality is not.
