  • where to shop for jeep parts

being that I am new to the jeep thing, where is a good place to buy the mountains of stuff I will need to play the game right? I have hit up most of the places close to where I live and they all seem to want to retire at my expence.
I don't mind paying for quality, but I'v been around long enough to know when a salesman is putting his best intrest ahead of mine.
I know that I will be spending big cash to keep my rig on the trail, I just need to deal with someone who won't try to hit a home run every time I walk through the door.
    :dunno:

I've had really good dealings with this company:

    http://www.jeep4x4center.com/index.htm

They ship quick, I usually get a 10% discount coupon for my next order from them, and most importantly - I once was having trouble finding a part for my old Jeep and they had it, they thouhgt. I got a call within 30 minutes saying they made an error and helped me resolve the problem. Imagine they called me, now that is customer service. :thumbs_up

There are other good companies and I'm sure others will post them.

I'm also going to try these guys. http://www.4wheelerssupply.com/ I just ordered Rubicon Express leaf springs from them. Hard to beat free shipping. Shipping cost is how most of the parts companies online make their money back from their low advertised price.
            Check out .

                  dirk from dpgoffroad.com

                  joe from absoluteoffroadphx.com

dirk and i had a good hour long conversation about where my jeep currently was and where i want it to be in the future.. he realized im building my jeep up slowly since im only 20.. and he helped me get parts that i wouldnt be replaced if i went bigger (ext my jks trackbar)

dirk and joe both really know their stuff, prices are good, and shipping is QUICK..

redrock4x4.com and northridge4x4.com also has some good prices.. as well as polyperformance.com

ive ordered something from each of these places.. you cant beat them as apposed to 4wdh.com/quadratec.com/jcwhitney.com

I just spent a good chunk of money with http://www.4x4groupbuy.com and had good dealings with them. There was a small problem with my order and they went out of their way to help me get it fixed as quickly as possible.

x2 . . . best prices I could find . . . no tax (unless the company charges them) and free shipping on some items. I ordered a bunch of stuff from them and will probably again. The only issues I had . . . back ordered/missing parts were caused by the manufacturer as they shipment came straight from them but Jason contacted the company and had the part to me within a week. The only complaint I had was that I didn't get much in the way of advice . . . I ordered a CV driveshaft along with a lift and could have used someone asking if I had adjustable UCAs, the proper bracket, etc . . . would have saved me some time and stress!
That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.

Dave will beat any price, and I forgot to mention, no tax and free shipping on orders over $100. If you ever have a problem with anything you buy from him, all you have to do is call him to get it taken care of. No dealing with the manuf. for any warranty stuff, he takes care of it.
