well.. since im new here.. im going to add my FULL build up on my jeep..

    old part:

this is what i started with

one night offroading i ripped my front fogs off so i added a new set, and also on my windshield too

soon i decided i wanted a small lift, and my coils were sagging and shocks were shot.. so i bought a 2'' coil/shock lift from procomp.. i also added 1'' wheel spacers

i also added a 6-speaker sound bar, then changed the 2 dash speakers and 2 of the speakers in the soundbar out for sony xplods.. also added another headunit since my other one went bad, and a xm radio (first pic is my xm with old headunit)

    this is the new headunit

oh yah.. i added that front brush guard on my bumper too

then i got some foot rests for when my doors off

cargo net to store stuff with the top on

then i got my rat patrol sticker

then i got my eagle alloy rims and 33s.. also added a 1'' bb on top of my 2'' coils for extra clearance

got tired of my lift and how it drove so i made a bunch of much needed improvements..

    the list:
    jks front trackbar
    jks acos
jks disconnects and rear adjustable endlinks
    jks body lift and mml
    RE monotubes

heres a few pics with just the front acos and body lift installed

so now heres the new part...

bought a d44 off a jeeper from south carolina.. then i painted it rustoleum satin black

i began tearing out my d35.

then i got my diff covers in the mail

so i painted em rustoleum satin green

      then mounted the rear one

the d44 is sitting under my jeep now, broke a upper ca bolt so i gotta go get one tomorrow then the swap will be done.. ill add pics of the final install tomorrow.. (i got a matching hp dana 30 being regeared as we speak)

oh and when i got to a stopping point waiting on the paint to dry.. i did the bright/fog light mod to where you can run your fogs with the brights on..

are you swaping out your 35 because you boke it or before it brakes?

heh my fly was broken =p.. id rather ruin an old pair of shorts than new ones =p

i replaced my d35 because my brakes were going bad.. the drums, brake pads, and all internal hardware needed thrown away and replaced.. and who wants to spend money on the d35.. i got the d44 for $1000 shipped to my door so i couldnt beat that deal.. seeing as i would have spent 250-300 fixing my rear brakes.. plus im gearing up to run 36'' iroks next summer =D

and the diff covers are riddler diff covers from rokmen.. $199 for both f&r shipped to my door.. lifetime warranty, and the breaking point is 150,000 pounds.. they got a video of them dishing some SERIOUS punishment on them..

Just out of curiosity... Why green? Nothing else is green. Is it for contrast? Sorta looks like you pulled axles out of a John Deere tractor

Now for the ultimate accessory to that D44 you bought... Alls you have to do is rob the disc brakes off a 1995-1998 Grand Cherokee in the bone yard for 4 corner stopping power! If ya wanna do this mod, just order the Rubicon retainer (thicker than the drum brake one) and don't forget to rob the brake lines off the GC while you're stealin' the other stuff and get some Rubicon parking brake cables...... Bob's yer' uncle! Mud, sand or water will be no problem. I have part numbers if you wanna do this mod.

the sahara decal and the sahara tan/forest green seats in my jeep.. i almost painted my frame that color green too =D ive always loved the color of forest green and use to wish my jeep was that color.. but my gold grew on me =p.. i sorta of want to follow a desert camo color.. tan/green/black..

sounds good.. ive looked into the mod a couple of times about swapping brakes to my d35.. never spent the money because i wanted a stronger rear-end.. part numbers are great =D post up if you dont mind.. its not in the works yet (control arms are next followed by a sye) but it will definately be done before xmas.. i know ill want the stopping power for when i swap my 33s out for 36s =D
