Hey guys im going to be picking up a lift kit for my 90 xj 2dr 4x4, I already grabbed some tires 32x11.5x15 almost new with american racing rims off a wrangler for 175 bucks, So to fit these I was thining 4.5 inch lift. Has anyone had any problems with rustys? I heard RE was the best but its a lot more money, is it worth it? How is the ride on rustys lift with their coils and full leaf packs?

I have a Rusty's setup on my YJ. It's soft and flexy. WAY better than the pro-comp springs they replaced. Just be careful with weight. You WILL cause these things to sag if you overload your XJ."The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money."

Ok I ended up going with 4.5 inch RE coil springs. And since im going to be upgrading to long arm I just went with a basic lower control arm from rustys. Then the RE 4.5 leaf pack. For the track bar I think I will go with RE as well, heard some bad things about rustys track bar! Rustys does have a good deal on the SS brake lines. Oh and I went with rustys 4.5 inch lift shocks, cant beat 30 bucks.

Hey so I got the back on a block right now, till my leafs come in. Im going to be lifting the front this weekend. I got RE 4.5 coils rustys lower control arms for 4.5 inch lift. Did some research and going to pick up some chevy 1500 brakelines for the front. Got rustys 4.5inch lift shocks. Will I be able to drive it like that or would I need to do the trackbar before it is driveable? I got a stock one on now, also I do not have swaybar links yet. Anything else you can think of I need to lift the front? Will stock upper control arms be ok for a while?
