Does any no of any good transmission shop in the inland empire? Thanks

The best Jeep friendly transmission shop I am aware of that is in reasonable driving distance is Westminster Transmission in Westminster (in Orange County, not that far from you). The guy to talk to there is Joe who really takes care of us Jeepers, he's helped me several times (I have the exact same tranny as you have) and really knows his stuff. He has a great reputation and is known for never screwing over his customers like so many tranny shops do. 714-898-0089.

Yes, I installed the Mopar deep pan kit which I think I paid $55 or so from the dealer. www.summitracing.com/ has a deep pan for it as well. That's an important upgrade if you offroad and climb or descend steep trails since it will prevent the tranny's ATF pickup tube from sucking air and causing the transmission to slip.

          good info.

I may have to call them too for the YJ. That tranny has about keeled over and died I think.

Hey Nick I know of a great shop in Hesperia. When I lost the trany at Calico they did great work. Rebuilt it, put a offroad torque converter in it and put a plug in the pan to change it out for $950.

Oceanside Transmission does great work. Very friendly, very knowledgeable, the only 'gotcha' is the price! I highly recommend their work!
