the Sahara s have color matched fender flares, that are a little wider the there counter parts. They also have a plastic molding that runs full length flair to flair, two tone interior green and tan, it also seems the majority of them have the Dana 44 rear,and 3.73 gear ratio( tjs at least)o ya and that fancy sticker on the side that says Sahara (lol) Mostly its all appearance

I thought that was a Renegade. Didn't Saharas just have the 6-cyl and some sort of upgraded bumpers and flares?

I think the D44 in a Sahara is a rumor...

In my case the 2002 Sahara wss the deck out all option model. A/C , cruise, security key, radio, full carpet kit... as standard equip. The Dana44 is an option, cost me about $275 for the "Heavy Duty" rear end. The interior (color & fabrics) was exclusive to the Sahara model and the only other factory option was a locking gas cap and maybe some Canadian options, daytime headlights possibly.

iam not to sure, but doesnt the sahara automatically come with cruise as well? unfortunatly i dont have the d44 rear end

ok so the saharas come from the factory like this :gun:

I'm pretty sure my YJ is a Sahara. It came with black flares, but the flares were full length. Also, the 4.0 and AC.
