Oh, and I have this electric motor we could put on the front with some string......

Hey, I talked to the GenRight rep at Calico, and says that AEV should have the sliders and such with in the next couple o weeks.....
I just noticed on my front axle u-joint a little nicka roo....
Time to either fab some up, with my fancy harbor freight welder:omg: or get the Nth slider, if AEV ever gets smart about what line they 'picked up'.

Just found out my bonus at the end of the month will be rockin' . . . so it's on like Donkey Kong!!! So many decisions though . . . what all to do:dunno:

Any suggestions on a rear bumper/tire carrier? Seems like the consensus is that the Rock Hard is too expensive and too heavy. I really like the Rock Hard as it comes with the shackels and the accessory hitch, as well as a built in spot for my HiLift and CB.

Sounds like my cool looking Rubi wheels will have to go . . . I'm not liking the idea of one of those spacers cracking on me. So with 33's on 15's what would be the best width and backspacing for the wheels?

Is my list complete or am I missing anything?

I like 10" width, most people will tell you go with 8". 3.75" - 4" back spacing is good.

As for bumpers i would say:

        JCR, Rokmen, Warn, Rock-it Man
        |90 XJ|4.0|AX-15|NP231|RE H&T|TnT Y-Link|RE Coils|BOR Leaves|ACOS|D30/Aussie|8.8/ARB|35" Kevlar MTRs|Custom Exo,Sliders,Bumpers|

I have been running spacers,, 33's ,, 4.5" lift and stock Rubi rims, and have run some hard core trails and have had no problems at all, torque them on and use locktite, as for them cracking, buy good quality, and you should have no problems. Looking for a good price on rims, America's tire has a rim, Steel made by UNIQUE, Looks the same as Pro Comps but @ alot less money.

Wow Chips you are right that thing is sweet. I like how it's got the HiLift mount and the wrap arounds to protect the corners . . . It's also got the telescoping tire carrier so it won't stick out like the RockHard seems to. But did you see the price . . . 930 bucks with 2 shackles . . . ouchie!!!

Anyone have experience with this bumper/carrier...is it worth the price? How was the install?

I've been barking up that tree for quite some time. Seems somebody () doesn't like making bumpers... Something about too much work, not enough money, blah, blah, blah.

I don't know why it's still on his site though.

I dont have info on the Bumper, but I am running Schrockworks rock sliders, and they are very well made and really strong, compared to other LJ sliders I have seen.

So now I'm hearing that AEV has finally brought out some of Nth's parts . . . Might have to get their oil pan skid and f/r diff sliders. So what should I expect as far as gas milage once I go w/ 4" lift, 33's, and a bunch of armor, tire carrier, etc???

It should be legal to pull him over, smack him profusely, and confisgate the Jeep for such an offense.
