  • I want to raise my front seats.

The stock seats are comfy enough but I feel a little low when behind the wheel and want to raise the seats up a couple inches. Can I just unbolt them from the floor, put in a spacer and bolt them back down with longer bolts?

    Its an 05 wrangler.

    Thanks.

there is a company that makes a product called the "big boy seat" or "tall boy seat", Anyway it is a set of brackets to raise the seat for taller people. I think he claims the seat was lowered by the factory some time during the TJ run to realign the impact zone of the air bag. (?) I find that a little strange as the wheel is adjustable but I guess. anyway http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?partID=133194WD Hardware carries them
65 dollars a seat. thats why I did not order them.

I recently changed my front seats in the 88YJ. I bought Corbeau "Moab" seats and I sit up at least 2-3 inches taller. That little amount does wonders for seeing better over the hood and out the doors plus some lumbar support.

Well, I wasn't put the roller wheels past anybody. Those wheels are quite durable. And have a little cushion to them. :thumbs_up
