  • Tires for my pick up.

B F goodrich All Terrains or Pro Comps? They are for my Tundra. Its not a 4x4 but I do use it for camping, dirtbiking, all around city driving. I have the A Ts now, just wondering about some other brands.Although its not a jeep question you guys seem well versed in these things.

I ran bfg for years on my toyotas 4runner and pick up. They work great but, they never seem to last as long as the should. I now drive a diesel dodge which because of the weight and the power should eat tires. I am running Toyo mud terrains this time they have close to forty thousand miles and are still good enough for winter driving here in colorado. I would say they are best truck tires i've had. Good luck shopping

BFG AT. ProComp's tires just seem to wear out too quickly.

my boss has the bf mtrs on his chevy 2500 and he burned threw them in less than a year. now hes got the yokaham geolanders on there, and there a directional tire, 33's he rocks them hard every day after work, burnouts and stuff. no sign of much wear yet. then again its the winter so burnouts on ice are easy. my friend has the procomp at's on his chevy and they are nice aswell.

BFGs have a REALLY stiff sidewall. Great for rocks, but it's not the smoothest riding tire in the world because of the lack of sidewall flex. It's probably the most durable thing out there.

I'm scared of anything that bares the Pro-Comp name, although I hear their tires are really not as bad as all their other crap.

Your boss either had BFG MTs or Goodyear MT/Rs but not BFG MTRs.

I have procomps on my Titan, they seem to be doing okay, but I like the BFG AT's on my CJ7 better. The side walls are stronger.
