my buddy has an 89 YJ with a 2.5" RE lift, on 32x12.50 MTRs. anyone know a good source on some wider fender flares? i know nothing about the shorties so i cant help him

Is your buddy simply trying to stay "legal?"

I have 33x12.50 MTR's with the stock flares that I trimmed because the rubbed too much. But, I don't get any crud thrown in my face from the tires.....

Yah, I understand. I guess it depends upon the priorities of the local constabulary. In south OC, I have never had an issue, but they can tell that my Jeep is too slow to be breaking any kind of speed laws, so I think that they simply ignore me.
