  • New project at Ahole Fab

Ahole Fab is getting busy these days. Nick's CJ project is finally moving ahead with great momentum, some other small projects have been completed so I just brought in this little jewel for a cage and some other mods. Super fun little ride.

I'm using bendy drink straws... should be good right? Easy to bend too. 1.25"x.120" cromo.

So this buggy has been a learning experience. I like these cars and they are a blast to drive, but they are not very well put together. Having said that, I managed to get this monstrosity of a cage in this little bitty bug. Not a big fan but that is what the customer ordered and he loves it so... I had WAY different designs for this buggy. But it's done and going to the desert soon to play.

Full five point seats and belts, 8 point connection to the frame without cutting the body, Ice Chest shelf in back and whip mounts on top. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder

Just roll up the check or the largest bill he paid you with and look at the project through it like a scope. I'm sure it will look better.

definitely a strange looking cage! Is he planning on mounting something up top?
