  • tube fender question

What are you guys building your fenders out of? I have some leftover 6inch 3/16 inch thich flat bar that'll be the right length and I'll just. Make it the right width. Is 3/16 to thick? And what tube thickness are you guys using? I have 1.5x.130 wall is that too small?

    Thamks for any help, Mike

3/16" might be too thick. we used 12ga which is (0.1046) slightly thinner than 1/8" thick. i would not use anything thicker than 1/8"...i think 12ga is perfect.

for the tubing we used 1 1/2" x .120 wall.

go on genright.com and see what material they use for theirs.
