  • body panel replacement

Over the years my knowledge of what works and what doesn't has come along a long way. In my earlier days I drilled holes thru the body and cut the rear of the Jeep for led tail lights. I want to cut out all the holes and patch the body.
My question is how thick is the metal? And should I get galvanized just in case I can't get all of it with paint? Or is there a paint that wont bubble or am I making that paint up?
    Thanks Mike

Galvanized steel and welding aren't the best mix
Just use regular sheetmetal slightly thicker that the stock stuff, will make welding it a bit easier

10 gauge is like .130. Might be a little thick.
