CJ7 style tail gate or not?

Since I was happily hacking on my Jeep project today a question came up shall I omit the tail gate or convert it to a fold down tailgate like a CJ7, I have 2 latch handles and latches to make that part work what Y'all think? I have no idea how to put a poll together, any volunteers?

I like the idea of having the CJ style tailgate. Its nice to have a table/ workbench on the back. I plan on turning my YJs rear door into a tailgate.

How you gonna carry your spare? If it were between eliminating it and converting it, I'd vote for converting it.

I thought about doing that tailgate thing when I bashed my old TJ one. I think it's pretty trick, and besides the utility of it, I like the way the old tailgates look. If I did it now, I'd just make my own, and I still may...

Convert it. Don't think twice. I love having the fold down tailgate. Great work table on the trail and a great kitchen counter top in camp. If I didn't already have it I would make it.

I would go for the fold down tailgate if I new how!! But that,s a good question ,how would you do yer spare? a plus is when you go on run,s with Mr.Bash you,d have a fancy table..lol
