    does anybody know where to score swingout hinges? plan to fab a swingout for my 87 yj i have a tubeular bumper any ideas are welcome thanks Rich.
    But can we SURVIVE 2 more years?

    I really like this one because it is rebuildable. Kinda pricy though.

      theres a bunch on ebay,
      if your fabbin the bumper, you could make a nice one.
      large barrel hinges work too.

          thats where i got mine for my build. last time i was on there site they had a 2,000 lb'er to.. be adviced though, when you weld it into the bumper, dont weld directly onto the spindle.

          rosette weld a sleeve onto the spindle then weld the whole thing to the bumper keeping the spindle cool with a wet rag and go slow. over heating the spindle will DEFINATELY weaken the life of the spindle.
          been there done that. here's my carrier i built using a tomken bumper and the spindle and tire carrier accessories from AtoZ.

          minus the bumper, everything cost me about 100.00
          1st batch TJ bought August of 96. Locked and Loaded!

            Go for the heavy duty one from A to Z favricarion is the only one that goes in a sleeve in the bumper. Is a well made kit and well worth the money. Have one of those hanging of the back of my Jeep for over 2 years

                order it online, wait 2 days and knock knock knock. there it is. doesnt get more local than that.
