I don't want to hijack your thread, but since you asked, I just wanted to show you that I really like my Dana 44s with LOCKERS. Here's a poser shot we took this weekend on the Lower Terminator trail in Table Mesa, AZ. With open diffs, I'd be hooking up the tow strap about now, but with my lockers, I just drove up and out of this:

Well I have had some time to play with it, and it is fabulous. It is so light it hovers over the rocks (when I can find the line )

I am exstatic with it. Having gotten it up to 70 mph in the whoops till my back couldnt take any more, I now know it can do that as well as crawl the rocks.

So far so good with the armor, and managing to keep the orange parts scratch free.

I'll be back at the hammers this weekend to play some more. Spooners?

So far we ran the entry to JackHammer (the waterfall), SledgeHammer, Aftershock, Devils slide, Sun Bonnet, and something else I dont remember. All in all a good test for the rig. It WORKS!

Erik's Jeep performed flawlessly. Very nimble and light on its wheels. The loss of all the weight really enables the Jeep to take lines and obstacles that weren't obtainable before.
