Even with good friends, it still takes a pile of cash, unless you have some really good friends that also donate parts.

It is getting close to ready to fire up and take wheeling.
Thanks for all of your help Blaine Chris and Gerald. It is much appreciated.
You are very welcome. I have to say that although I'm not a real fan of the YJ platform, this one pleases me greatly. I'm very happy with the cage, very happy with the fenders and the armor ain't all bad either.

Not much left on there is YJ, but I do indeed like the way it works, and now the looks are catching up to the functionality of the suspension. The level of safety provided by the cage, and other aspects of this build are fantastic.

Eric, your buddies Blaine, Chris and Gerald rock.
That is starting to look like one bitching Jeep
I am sure it will do a very good job of taming most of the hammers

Wheel openings trimmed, sliders placed and tub rub rails all installed. These will never see actual production so this is one of a kind. I'm a TJ guy but Erik's YJ is just cool!

Here is a great picture of Chris! Hehehehehehee!

What he thought were the hinges were not your hinges. I looked all over the shop and they are nowhere to be found.

Erik, that looks sweet! Did you extend the frame? Or is the body a little shorter? Looks good my friend!

                                Drew,

On Erik's Jeep the wheelbase has been extended. That's why it looks funny before we cut the aluminum corners.
