    well im getting sick of looking at up grades for my 4.0 so im not going to do that

    ive heard some rumors about the ax15 and the 350 being compatable?? i dont know how true this is but i figured id ask here.
    this is going to be one of those projects put off until i have everybolt ready to go. my heep is my daily drive so it needs to run!

    Advance Adapters makes anything fit anything. You don't want to match a high HP engine to an AX-15. It's a medium-duty tranny. I'd go with a 700R4 myself.

      well the engine im probalby going to drop in is around 320hp so i imagine the ax 15 should be able to hold up fine. do you know where i could one of those adapters??

        seems pretty cheap. now i just have to decide if i want to go fuel injected or carbed

          giffer a guy here in winnipeg, called the jeep doctor, quoted me 1500 to do a 350 swap on my old 97 4banger, and that was with him supplying a 300+ horse motor. you could stay at my house while its gettin done i live two mins away from his shop. also my buddy wade works there and he put a 302 ford in his cj, its dope as heck. just my two cents. what would fuel cost you to get from calgary to winnipeg though?
