  • Low Gearing Clutch Recommendations

OK, got a question. I got my Jeep together and it's running fine. The last overhaul included a lengthend wheelbase, and going to an NP435, flipped D300 mated to an NP203 Range Box. I put my tranny in with an used clutch, just to make sure I got everything lined up right, I didn't want to grenade a new clutch kit. Now that it's running fine, I want to upgrade the clutch, and was wondering what type fo clutch, folks with low gearing are running. With my set up my crawl ratio is around 150 to 1.

I was thinking a Centerforce dual friction kit.

Anyone got any recommendations, or alternatives?

i like the LUK brand clutches. they are the OEM manufacturer, and offer a better than stock "gold" clutch.

X2 on the Luk clutch.I thought Centerforce were designed to hold better the more rpm's applied to them? Most of my Jeepin requires slow speed/low rpm-your results maybe different!

Looked some more at the CFI and CFII, the ones with the centrifical weights and such, looks like they would hold better at higher rpms.
