That's the top of his pinion gear. It looks a little chewed up!!!
Time to regear! Did you have a desirable ratio to begin with? If so, that sucks as it's just money down the drain!If we aren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?

its a 33 spline dana 44 with 456's..small damage but damb expensive, just ordered the new stuff...it was the cross pin that holds the cross pin sheared, i run a mini spool, wich replaces the spiders, and thought i stripped the splines, i wont be using a carrier at all anymore, //Kevin

it was the small crosspin slid out and allowed the large crosspin to hit the pinion gear on every rotation, more of a fluke than anything,

i run dana, spicer, gears i think there stuff is made in Toledo, Ohio and the UK, im pretty sure? i know many of the companys do send there stuff out over seas, thats why i stick to dana, and the set up is easier. Damb cheap japanese junk---dont you drive a toyota???
