After searching here and there online...I can't seem to find any aftermarket vendors for the 8.25. I remember somebody putting alloy shafts in their Chrysler axle, but I can't remember who it was. Also, are there any selectable lockers for the 8.25? I can find EVERYTHING for the D30, that's easy...it's beefing up this rear axle that's not cool. And while I know i won't need it...cause I'm only gonna run a 3in lift kit with 31's...it's always nice to know you'll never break the axle. Now the driveshaft is another story.
I dunno...I don't really want an ARB locker. I know they are a great system...I just don't have the know-how to put one in...woe is me. I was wanting an OX-Locker...but I don't think OX makes a locker for the 8.25"
