I'm running 48 and at 80 mph with the 2.5lit in 5th gear I'm around 3500 rpm (Only on a strait section of highway and not for very long)

I can do that to, with a down hill and tail wind
but the 2.4 is such a great engine wheeling, once properly geared, and does sip gas on the hwy compared to the 4.0, I just love it. however, it is not DD friendly as I need some HP when I get POed.censored for having an opinion

well just to make you feel alittle better its bigger then a 2.4L.....its a beastly 2.5L!!! i know thats a big difference, but my best friend ran 35s with his 2.5, with the stock 4:10 gears, he ended with 4.88s and 35s and he was fine, hit 65 in 5th, i know the 4 banger useing 5th unheard of!

4 wheel whole seller sells them for around 250 bucks. A good used axle housing is around 350 bucks.
The truss will HELP for it make the axle housing one solid peice.
