here is my 2.5 four banger...

it is on 35's and has a ford 9 spooled up out back... got a tj shaft up front wit a lunch box locker. it is still my daily driver... at least for the next month or two.

i greatly appreciate our armed forces for serving to protect us from all the hussiens (and their idiot kids) and bin-ladens of the world.

                  Lack of power?

Our Jeep "Marvin" is a '98 SE 4-banger. It seems powerful enough on the trail. The only time it feels sluggish is at speed on the freeway. But then Jeep aerodynamics blow! Plus, when we have the overhead rack on mileage goes down the tubes on the freeway. However I have noticed that on the trail, we use a whole bunch less gas than our big-engined friends with their V-8's and I-6's. Another bonus is less power=fewer broken parts.
It's not the size of your tire, it's how you place it!

'98 wrangler 4" superlift rockrunner kit, adjustable trackbar, 33's, rear EZlocker,
                  and Kargomaster rack.

                    Less power also equals...LESS POWER!

I think broken parts make wonderfull mantel decorations, and coffee table conversation pieces...

This is the first four banger I have had in 10 years. It is doggin on the freeway uphills, but maybe that will keep me from getting speeding tickets. It does get a little wiggly over 75 mph anyway...that was down hill..

94 YJ. So far so good.
                        Insert witty comment here.

Did all of you YJ 4 bangers take the goofy little veturis (a tapered looking plastic horn) out of your airbox opening and the beginning of the tube that leads from the airbox to the engine? They both come out with a screwdriver, for a noticable boost in top end.....
