  • Wheres my clutch fluid going?

Yesterday after dropping the woman off at work my clutch petal started going further and further to the floor to the point where I couldnt disenage tje clutch anymore. Checked the fluid, bone dry, wierd, but filled it up, pumped the clutch back up, checked for leaks (none) and went on my way, confused, but happy it was just fluid. This morning I goto duty muster and on the way back same thing, I've checked the lines from the master to the slave the best I can, I know I need to do a more through check, any areas to look at first?

Did you look inside the cab? look under the dash where the master cylinder connects to clutch peddle. brake fluid has a smell to it and eats paint. If it is leaking inside you should be able to find it.

Change the clutch while you are there.
