hey folks, just looking to see how i can get a little more oomph outta the xj. wondering how much power people have seen off of a header/ignition/etc, thanks!

the best engine performance mod isnt even with the engine. its in re-gearing.... re gear your axles to a higher numeric number. say you have 4.10's... go to a 4.56 or a 4.88 and see the performance!.. ignition through jacobs and mallory and all that is basically a waste of money and time. keep your ignition tuned up with normal maintance and you'll be good. a header like a banks would be good. a better exhaust like a flowmaster and a slip on k/n filter will give you some added ponies. other than that its called A STROKER!
