Greetings all, I just recived my Chevy disc brake caliper mounts today. They are for my 73 CJ5 dana 30 front axle. I'm intending to run late 70's Chevy 3/4 ton calipers and I was wondering which master cyclinder to use. I'm thinking 77ish Jeep or 79ish Chevy truck. Anyone have a opinion or done this swap ? In advance, thanks for your input.

did you check earlycj5.com? I get a lot of stuff from them. But... my question is, is this the stock D30? I checked your post a lot because well... mine too.[COLOR="darkred"]"Death Smiles at Everyone... Marines Smile Back."

Yep, stock Dana 30 w/locker. I paided a bit too much for my caliper mounts ($130) But I'm not in Palm Desert anymore. The calipers (78 K10/20), rotors (77Jeep), and the master cyclinder (82CJ) without small misc. parts will run $340.00. Alot better than a $700.00 kit. I decided when I put disc on the rear I will fab my own mounts. I got my information from 15-20 websites, computors are a wonderful thing ! If you need info on this let me know. Also during my search, I found a source for the 18-8-37 sliding gear from the early bronco (gold) for the 2.46 Dana 20 conversion at a decent price.
