    89 Cherokee idles rough but once I hit the gas it runs fine.

    I'm told the compression started at 90 psi at each cylinder, but now is 60 one is 30 is this the problem

      so the compression WAS 90, but now its 60 in all the holes except for one hole which is 30 psi?

      Did you do the compression check? I dont know how it could leak that much so quickly. Well, besides that, even if all the holes were at 90 psi, that isnt the best. It is suppose to be 120-150 PSI with 30psi variations allowed. So 90 is at the VERY bottom end. Sounds like it might be time for a rebuild . . . or better yet Stroke it!!

        Does anyone know where I can drop off my truck a pick it up sometime later with a new engine. Of course somewhere in the NYC area?
