Top speed is 50mph is that normal for my vintage?

Just wondering if I was the onyl person who has a top speed of about 50mph. Althought my inline 6 is a 1975 with a dana 44.

Yesterday you said it did not run.

I would guess that it is a 232 and a BW12 auto.
It will do better than 50, mine will cruz at 65 with no problem.

Oh, its till not running but when it did it only ran about 50mph. Its actually a 258 & Dana 44. It was a postal truck though

Not that this really helps, but my dad had an old... I wana say 42?? Willy's Milk Wagon... only ran about 50mph on the highway but she was unstopable. Man that thing was awesome. Had all time 4x4... with two shifters, one for 4low, and one for 4high I think... does that sound right? Used it to pull a few trees out and it didnt even grunt, but then he sold it to a guy that was going to restore it... I wish he would have kept it.
