Restoring my CJ7

Hi,
I bought my ' 84 CJ7 when I was in HighSchool and I'm ready to restore it. I've been waiting a long time to do this.
Anyways,
I'd like to replace the engine and I'm prepared to spend a fair amount of time and money to get it done right.

What would you install? New, Used? Where to find it? Definetlly partial to the 6 cylinder.

I would install a 4.0 from a Cherokee. Fuel injection is real nice and a low mileage 4,0 can be found for less than Mopar Injection. Overdrive is nice too
