following up on 4.2 swap

About 5000 miles ago I put a rebuilt 4.2 longblock in my YJ. I didnt realize at the time that there was a break in period, hope I didnt hurt anything.

What is a normal follow up to a freshly rebuilt engine? retorquing bolts, etc... I have developed a clickety clack noise that I suspect is the valvetrain. How is this remedied?
