  • 35" tires and STock TC

Wondering if anyone is running 35's with the 5 speed and stock TC. THinking about not waiting for the TC and getting the tires on now and dealing with it for a month. Gotta a Calico Trip coming up though. I know some people run it like that. Is it that bad??

Im doing that setup right now. Drives pretty good on the Highway except for that stupid shake after 65 mph

I havent had a chance to offroad with it but it is what I will be stuck with for a long time so I better get use to it.

We have a little bit of a vibration begin at 65 or so. I have not re-geared yet, so it doesn't really go much faster than that. 3.50's in the pumkins still......

Short term should be no problems at all.

Do you guys think hi speed vibration like you got over 65 mph could be as simple as your wheel/tires out of balance?

you'll be fine with the np231. that thing is a lot stronger than some give it credit for.

I am so happy, I got my 35's on Saturday. I havent uploaded any pics yet. I will tonight. Thanks for your help guys....

I will have to deal with stock TC for about a month now. Its not bad at all. Street driving isnt as bad as I thought it would be. I have the 4.56's. I will test it out this weekend in Calico to see the difference wheeling.

My setup is very similiar to yours, 35s with 4.56. I have no issues on the street and actually find it drives better than when I had 33s (except for that shake that happens every once and awhile). I have not had a chance to do any real wheeling with the setup so no commits on that part.
