    Does anyone know if the AX-15 from a TJ is a drop in replacement for a YJ?

    I have the opportunity to buy a spare tranny from a TJ with only 27K miles - but I don't want any pissing about.

    As far as I know they are identical in every aspect. The worst thing you might have to do is swap out the reverse switch if the wiring connector is different. I believe it unthreads just like a bolt, no biggie.
