On my last Baja run I smoked my clutch climbing a sand dune, it's still working OK for now but it chatters when I first engage it. I've been looking around and there are a lot of options. Does anyone have any input on any of the aftermarket stuff out there. I don't know if I should go stock or stiff?:dunno:

The best aftermarket clutch I have used (not in a jeep.....never had to change that one out...) was a Centerforce II. It has held up for over 9 years where many other have not held up for 3 months.olllllllo <--- If you can read that, roll me over!
Price is soon forgotton, quality is not.

in my opinion the best replacement clutch is the oem part.
those are made by LUK.
LUK also has a high performance clutch, but i dont have any personal experience with it.
most people are getting 150,000 miles or more out of their stock clutch, so it cant be bad
try www.dialaclutch.com
i have purchased a few from there for various vehicles.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
