  • CA legal headers

    anyone know of any CA emissions legal headers for my 304. i got a pretty bad exhaust leak, and could use the power
    1978 CJ7, 304 V8, T-150, locked AMC 20 with Superior Axles, Warn M8000, RE 2.5" lift, 31"BFG mudterrains, Naked and dirty 7 months of the year! Cant wait to get more!

      do they even check to see if they are legal when they smog ya? i know california has different ways of smogging in different places

        I dont know if these have what you are looking for, but its a start. If they have all the O2 sensors and junk, I dont think you'll have a problem . . . unless you have a sharp ass smog guys and he gets them on the visual.

          Problem with CAL Smog on the AMC V8 is the air injection tube. I do not know of any AMC V8 headers that have air tubes.

            thanks guys, i'll look through those sites and throw out some questions to the tech's to see what i can dig up

              i got an email back from thorley headers.....they got some with the smog stuff, but its an extra hundred. not bad......guess im moving somewhere else, like wisconsin.......hhaha, just kidding, they'll come later, im ordering my RE lift monday, so it'll b a while b4 another big mod

                Hey Jermy, glad to see your still having fun w/your Jeep. That was a pretty nasty crack from what I remember. Just Empty Every Pocket, you'll get what you want, a hundy here, hundy there, just money.
