Jeep starts but sometimes when you turn the key it makes a sound like the batt is dead ,then wait a few seconds then it will fire up...With that being said i had the batt ck it was fine... I have talk to people on the trail an some of there thoughts are bad ground or a safty switch on the trans or a relay....Thanks Allen

Check the connections and cables. It could be either the ground or + cable anywhere between the battery and starter.
Check all of them for solid connection and corrosion.

How did you have the battery checked? A voltage ck tells you nada......Amps is where it's at.
The battery has to be tested under a heavy load.
        How old is the battery?
