  • V6 Dispute

ok i figured id put this here because no one has posted here in a while. i have this thing going with my dad, not really a bet, but a disagreement. First off ill say this, his last 4 cars have been jeeps. now he has a new grand cherokee but his last one was a 97, possibly a 96. Hes convinced he had a V6, i think that it was a straight six. So im asking all you know it alls out there if between the old cherokee's with V6's and the new liberty if there was a V6 option? or was it only I6 and V8 for the Grand Cherokee's?

This website doesn't mention the WJ's but they didn't have a V6 IIRC, but rather the good ol Straight Six.

      4.0 inline six, 318 V8 and 360 V8 in the ZJ's

4.0 inline six, 4.7 SOHC in the WJ's, I believe. But no V6's.

      Sorry Dad!
