engine backfire and popping in the headers

We didnt check total timing before the changes but after the changes we have about 34 or 35 degrees. I know you guys told me to check the timing but I could not get to the timing pointer so I could not check it. I needed a fresh set of eyes because I was being blinded by fustration. It happens to the best of us. I am usually that fresh set of eyes at work, Russ was my fresh set yesterday.
Now I can start thinking about meeting you guys on the trail. Soon I will be planning a trip to Cleghorn, I will post in case someone wants to go.

Yeah, it's the simple/easy/basic stuff that is so easy to over look.
My timing light is one of my best friends.........And the first tool I use when chasing an engine mis-fire.
