  • tj drive shafts on a yj?

Can I fit tj shafts on a yj? I was looking at them yesterday and the only difference I really see is a double cardin(sp?) In the front at the tcase and what looked like a cv in the rear (didn't pay too much attention). We both have d30/35 and the 231 tcase. O and they're free I just want to know before I bull them out

I forget what the difference was but you have to change the the yoke on the front of your transfer case. They are only about $40 when I was looking at this. Its not entirely necessary IMO but you might have to move your front leaf spring perches. For a CV style shaft the pinion should point strait at the drive yoke, unlike your stock shaft which needs to be parallel to the drive yoke.

    edit. Link to Quadratec yoke.
