  • Yj rear end ??

I have a 95' YJ, I noticed when I was starting to work on the rear brakes that when I turned the passenger side wheel forward, the driver side wheel also rotated forward.
Does this indicate it has a trac-loc or limited slip or ??

Usually with the trac-loc it takes some wheel speed to make the other tire spin the same direction. You need to pull the cover and take a look. If there is a shaped spring in the middle then you have a trac-loc. It is possible to stuff some extra clutches in a trac-loc to make it lock up all the time.

Block the fronts, leave it in neutral and lift ome tire off the ground. Try to turn it by hand. If you can, it's open. If it tries to walk over the blocks, you have trac-loc (posi).
