what will need to be modified for an auto 42rle?

Not sure if the 42RLE ever came with a 21-spline output shaft (as opposed to 23-spline), but otherwise, the two should bolt right up. If it's replacing an NP231 that didn't have a SYE, a new rear driveshaft would be required. More info for more info.
