  • 360 Horsepower & Torque ratings?

    Friend of mine picked up a '78 CJ-7 with a 360. What are the stock numbers on that?

    He's got an Edelbrock intake & carb now. I'm fairly new to Jeeps.

    2 barrel carb = 175HP, 285 torque
    4 barrel carb = 195HP, 295 torque

      i was wondering if anyone makes a kit to convert a 95 wrangler 4 banger into somthing a little bigger like a 350 or anything and if i could use the stock tranny. any help would be great thanx

          thanx for the help. i was wondering if anyone saw or heard about a good deal on a cj7 fixer upper around western montana/ ND,SD ish if they could let me know. i am looking for something for about 1500 that i can completely redo. so any help would be great thanx
