Bad squeaks

Took jeep through mud few weeks ago, usually avoid mud all together, developed a few noises under jeep. Removed front drive shaft, changed tranny oil and diff oil. I've got really bad squeaks when moving and slowing down, on the gas and off, only when in motion though. Not sure what it is coming from. Any ideas?

Dust can make your brakes squeal. Your control arm bushings or joints (I see you're running RE) can be affected by water, dirt, etc. I'm running Teraflex arms with poly bushings, and I know that if I don't keep them lubed real well, they get eaten up quickly because the water, snow, and mud wash out the grease and wash in the grit.

Since your TJ has sealed unit bearings, they probably weren't affected, but a vulnerable part on the stock TJ (and others) is the front Dana 30 axle tubes. Jeep,instead of sealing them, threw on some hokey plastic doohickies that may block lizards and small mammals from getting into your axles, but they're pretty useless against water, mud, dust, etc. Superior and Alloy USA both make greasable outer axle tube seals for the Jeep Dana 30.
