I've got an Offenhauser Dual port intake(#5999) and a 400 CFM Carter AFB I want to install on my 1983 258.Has anyone done this swap?Or something similar?What did you use for throttle cable linkage?

I would think the linkage should not be too difficult to sort out... There are universal linkages available out there on the web for CJ's. I haven't seen it in person, but I have heard that this can be a nice setup. The Carter 4 barrels are great carbs. I think your mileage will suffer a bit, but then again it depends on the state of tune of the engine and how you drive. If you have your foot in it all the time, it will suck, otherwise it could be comparable.
