Well it has been a busy couple of days, but I got my Hi pinion dana 30 buckled together, the truss welded on new gears put in, control arm skids welded on upper Johhny joints installed. added a flip kit for the tierod and its stuck back under my Jeep.
Now all I have to do is regear the rear end and I am ready for some more fun.

Thanks, I am pretty happy with it. The housing has actually about twice the wall thicknes than a low pinion axle. This whole thing started among other things because the low pinion housing flexed to much and made My arb leak air.
Not to mention I got tired of demolishing the front drive shaft

Looks nice Art! Now maybe you can try some of the hard trails and stay off the by-passes.

Truss is made by TNT and not all that expensive I made the control arm mounts for it. For the money it's to much work to try and make a nice one. Also this one sits almost at the center line of the axle, helps control warping when you weld the thing on. Nope, I just set the pinion up with an old carrier so it would take less down time. Swapped the arb out when I swapped axles. Swapping the arb took about an hour

I recognized the TNT truss. That's where I got my tube fenders. Good products.
