OK can a rear end out of a grand cherokee bolt up under a TJ? they have the same style suspension links. yea or nay?? thanks trying to help a friend out.

Nope, the suspension is the same style, but in different places. Theres not a decent ZJ axle to swap in anyway. The aluminum d-44 isn't known for strength and the chrysler 8.25 is OK, but not great.

One problem with Grand cherokee diffs is they ran the aluminum d44, which has some of the worst aftermarket support of any dana axles, almost no locker or gearing support. So you need to check what axle that is.
