I was just wondering if it was possible to put 31's on a 98 cherokee with a 3 inch lift without any trimming. 30's i have no problem with, but was wondering about 31's cause i've read yes and no about it.

If you do not disconnect it, they will fit fine.

However, if you wheel your Jeep and unhook the swaybars you will find that there will be an assortment of "interesting" noises coming from the front fenders as they are shredded.

    Install larger bumpstops or trim.

How wide of a tire are you gonna run. I know this sounds silly, but I had 31x9.5 swampers on my XJ and they didn't rub. Any wider than that and twcguy is correct.

          Why stop at 33s.

          TRIM and 35x10.5 Swamper Boggers.

Six inch Rusty's lift and some trimming will fit 35x12.5s on a XJ. Take a look at the Green Briarwood on my Buddy's site. Bobs 4x4 Offroad

YES, before anyone questions the tire size and style, Interco is now making a 35x10.5x15 Swamper Bogger. $186/ea through Tyres International.

There is a guy on JU that has a 4.5" lift and 36's right now.

Cherokee's have too much sheet metal anyways. Just cut it off and run 33's!
