so i just got my first jeep, 94 yj, and so far its pretty sweet. anyway, the main problem i have with it is the trans. if the truck is rollin like 2mph, it slips right into gear. otherwise, i have to pump the clutch a little and kinda make it go into gear. i have the 4cyl model, and from the pokin around iv done, it would appear that i have an ax5 trans. my questions are is this normal or is my trans worn out? and does anyone sell a rebuild kit with gears and seals and bearings and all that good stuff? any help would be appreciated!

If you have to pump the clutch, you probably have air in the hydraulic clutch system. Bleed it or have it bled as a first step. You may also have a leak somewhere so look around for leaky seals or joints around your line.
If that doesn't work, you will probably need to replace the clutch master. I don't remember if you have the one-piece setup or not. If it's the one-piece, you get the clutch master, slave, and line all in one."The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money."
