  • Drive shaft Install on my Rubicon

The sparrows started chirping and I knew it was time to replace the Drive Shaft, since as a good wheeler I have a spare.

    Have money to burn?

The sparrows hit me, and it didn't cost me a new shaft... only new u-joints! I 'rebuilt' the front driveshaft and haven't had any angry birds since! Hopefully you can condition your old shaft and make up some cost by selling it! :thumbs_up
If we aren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?

      Not really:

I was on the way to meet friends in Moab and my CV went bad on Sunday and I was leaving Mon am to wheel on Wed.

I left a msg with TW to ship me another DS to where I was staying in Moab and I needed it by Wed. He already had my specs and when the DS arrived Wed am I wheeled. So I shipped my DS back to TW and asked that he rebuild it and ship it back to my off road shop in Dallas.

Certainly under most circumstances I would not have a spare TW DS laying around for nearly 5 years waiting on it to be used, but in this case I did. That is why is a DS install rather than a DS rebuild.
