Tranny Swap

Ok, so I have Googled, Searched, and dugg in to everything I could think of or that the net would throw at me, no luck so here goes.

Have my little 03 rubicon, 5-speed manual. I want an auto, just like slush boxes for wheelin and in bumper to bumper rush hour a lot nicer then grinding gears for an hour

So can I get away with sourcing a Wrangler 42RLE 4 speed auto and working it in to the heep, with no other mods or will I need to source a new CPU for the thing as well. Or should I just go the route of the AW4 swap like I have found tons and tons of on 91 - 02 wranglers.

AW4 is electric. It has its own controller, and depending on the year has its own tps or is integrated with the engine computer. It is not impossible but more challenging. it did not come in a wrangler. It can also be operated manually by switches.
700r4 is a good choice.

I may put a aw4 in my CJ, but I have a full donor with the same injection as my cj currently has.
