  • 700R4 Swap

Anybody have any info/ experience with a 700R4 swap. I have a NV-3550 and would love to swap in an auto but want to keep some sort of overdrive. Any info or websites would be great. Since this won't be an over night project I can afford the adapters, but i am looking for the little stuff that always goes along with major swap.

    Thanks,
    That's a BIG rock!

      Thanks,
If and when you make the swap, what are your plans for your "old" trans????

I have considered the 700R, but I will use the AW4 instead. Less adapters.

I thought about the AW4 too. I just didn't want to add more wireing and another computer, also you cannot keep the AW4 in 1st gear without more wireing. I have used Advanced Adapter adapters before and they work great.

if I get advance adapters for the front and back of the auto I would double what I have in the Jeep
My spare aw4 went into my XJ, i may go 700r i don't know yet.
